Coal-burning kiln „EURO” is provided for obtaining charcoal for economic reasons by processing remainders of wooden pieces and wood-pulp of hardwood and softwood. Kiln can be used by companies that operate in the sphere of preparing and processing wood-pulp.
The kiln is unique as raw materials are not moved, however, ensuring the necessary procedure for producing charcoal (wood drying, pyrolysis, heating and cooling); the process itself is removed which allows to reduce production expenses as well as cheapen the construction of the coal-burning kiln.
The main features of the kiln:
§ Ecologically clean.
§ High producing capacity.
§ Processing of hardw3ood and soft wood is possible, including brushwood and briquettes.
§ Lifting mechanisms are not necessary (cross-beam crane, telpher etc.).
§ High charcoal quantity and quality rates.
§ It is not a stationary production.
§ Automatization possible up to 90%.
§ Compatible with pre-packing line.
§ Maintenance staff needed for one kiln – 2 persons.
§ Low energy consumption.
§ Adequate price.
§ Compactness.
§ Using the remaining heat of the camera for drying regime – “pyrolysis”.
§ Refrigeration of charcoal outside the camera.
§ Using gas from pyrolysis for maintaining the process.
§ Applying gasification principle to furnace camera.
§ Coal is constructed from modern materials.
§ Construction of coal prevents from traumatism of maintenance staff, as well as complies with standards of the State.

Brief description of the process
Previously prepared wood-pulp is placed into trucks, loading is performed both manually and using transporter or cleaving machine. Afterwards trucks are moved to drying/pyrolysis camera which is adjusted in regime “drying”. In each camera 3 trucks are loaded, storage capacity of the first truck is > 1 m3 of wood-pulp. When according to indication of thermal adaptor the loaded wood-pulp has dried completely, camera is adjusted to regime “pyrolysis”. Gas that originated from the process of pyrolysis moves to furnace camera where it is burned to maintain the process. The remaining heat from camera adjusted in regime “pyrolysis” moves to camera adjusted in regime “drying”; this process increases efficiency factor of the coal significantly. When gas from pyrolysis stops extracting, the process is completed. Camera adjusted in regime “drying” is switched to regime “pyrolysis”, but the other – vice versa. Trucks with obtained charcoal are removed from the camera where the process was completed and they are placed to cool. Trucks with fresh wood-pulp are placed in the camera discharged.
The coal consists of 2 cameras which are connected with furnace camera. Each camera has smoke output pipe. Cameras are equipped with gas output canals that are utilized for steam-gas mixture moving to furnace camera during pyrolysis. This ensures ecological cleanness of the process. Below the camera there is a lug for water condensate (which extracts during drying) drainage. Cameras are equipped with protective valves. Construction of the coal ensures regimes of drying and pyrolysis, moreover, it is not necessary to move raw materials changing regime. The coal must be under constant monitoring – 3 working shifts each 8 hours.
